Evie is the matriarch here at Sab-Phi Farms. She takes her job very seriously. She is the product of the very famous Multi CH Shang-Hai's Jack the Bear out of Ashley's Dreamcatcher Jamars. Evie was quite successful in the rarebreed world before the Tibetan Mastiff was recognized by the AKC. Winning multiple groups and BIS's. She successfully completed her AKC title on the prestigious National Specialty Weekend taking WB both days of supported entries and BOW over all the youngsters on the first day of supported entries. Evie also captured the Best Veteran in Sweeps Award at the 2009 National.
Evie is the mother of all mothers. She breeds and whelps naturally and was named the TOP PRODUCING DAM IN THE AKC FOR THE WORKING GROUP AND TIED FOR THE OVERALL TOP PRODUCING DAM FOR 2008. We are very proud of her statistics since she has to date only had 2 litters and we have only been recognized for 2.5 short years in the "AKC". She is OFA good, Elbows normal, thyroid normal eyes clear. Evie has a head that is the epitome of breed type and she stamps that on all her children. She also seems to be giving her get her beautiful rear and tail, you can always tell an Evie kid from their backside!!!! She is the only one in the breed with an ROMX title (earned based on the merit of her offspring).
Evie is following in the footsteps of those great dogs before her: She is the dam of the AKC/Eukanuba and Westminster BOS winner for 2007 and of the BOB group 4 winner, Best Bred By Exhibitor, BOS to BOB and Award of Excellence at the 2008 AKC/Eukanuba Championship. She also is the dam of the 2009 BOB winner at the Tibetan Mastiff National Specialty. She has 9 AKC champions of record to her credit as well as an Australian CH and BIS winner in Australia and an Italian CH and a Czech CH.....she truly represents what Shang-Hai Tibetan Mastiffs is all about.
