Ch Shang-Hai's Sachi

Sachi was born here at Shang-Hai out of CH Shang-Hai's Queen of Eden ROMX. Sachi was sold and went to her new home at 10 weeks of age. Her owner was a very dear friend of mine Valerie Johnston and Sachi was the apple of her eye. She always told me that her goal for Sachi was for her to win the Breed at the Eukanuba Championship show. Her first year there Sachi took the Best Of Opposite win at both Eukanuba and Westminster. Shortly after Westminster Valerie was diagnosed with cancer and could not support Sachi any longer in her show career. Phil and I decided no matter what we would try and fulfill Valeries dream. We continued to campaign Sachi with great success making her the #1 bitch All Systems for 2008. The week before Eukanuba Valerie insisted on seeing me so we visited and she let me know she did not think she would be at Eukanuba but she would be watching no matter where she was.....2 days later Valerie died. We made the long drive to Eukanuba and it was certainly not in vain...Sachi not only took BOB but a Working Group 4 as well. Sachi is OFA excellent and elbows/thyroid normal. Sachi is now enjoying life on the farm and gifted us this year with a litter of 8 wonderful pups.
